As it was feared Lindsey Vonn will not be at the start of the Olympic Games in Sochi, announced it herself on her Facebook page saying it is not able to compete for the condition of his knee. Here's what I wrote the top-notch U.S.:

"I am devastated to announce that I will not be able to compete in Sochi. I did everything I could to be quite strong enough to recover from a knee injury, but the reality is that my knee is too unstable to compete at this level. I will work early so that I can be ready for the World Championships at home in Va next February (in fact, in February 2015, ed.) A positive note is that this means that there will be an additional seat so that one of my teammates will compete for the gold''. Thank you all for all the love and support''. I'll be cheering for all Olympians and especially for Team USA! "
