After a poor season in which he failed to qualify for the Olympics in Sochi and after a career marked by injuries the German racer Stephan Keppler ends his career at age 31.

Once again this year there was the desired breakthrough, it is time to devote to another professional future. The 14 years as a "professional athlete" were very beautiful with many ups and downs but now I need new challenges. Thank you all for the many years of your support! What do you say? Keppler born on 1st February 1983 in Innsbruck, Austria, it is grew up in Baden-Wuttenberg, one of the few German alpine skiers, usually from Bavaria. He made his debut in World Cup February 22, 2003 in the downhill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen competing in 126 races in the White Circus, the last on March 2nd in super-G Kvitfjell. The best time of his career was undoubtedly that of December 2010, when it won three of his seven placings in the top 10 in the Cup, including second place in the super-G in Val Gardena December 17. Unfortunately the next month fell in the downhill in Wengen breaking the ligaments in his right knee and had to skip the World Cup at home in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He has participated in three editions iridescent in 2007, 2009, and in 2013, his best result is was a fifteenth place in the downhill at Val d'Isere in 2009, the Olympics is took to the track in Whistler for the Vancouver 2010 ending the twenty-fourth in downhill and super combined.
