Wierer and his teammates will be engaged in Austria for the first weekend of races in Hochfilzen where they will try to redeem themselves after a second stage in Kontiolathi which gave them little satisfaction. It begins on Friday 11 December with the women's (11.30) and men's (14.20) sprint tests, then continues on Saturday 12 with the women's relay (11.45) and the men's pursuit (14.45) and the rich weekend of races ends on Sunday 13 December with the women's pursuit (11.45) and the men's relay (14.00).
Quick test weekend for the men's Alpine Skiing World Cup. Snow permitting, the first seasonal events for sprinters are scheduled in Val d''Isere, with the downhill run scheduled for Saturday 12 December at 10.30 and the supergiant on Sunday 13 at 10.30. It will be a special occasion to see the blue Dominik Paris back on the track after his bad injury last year.
